‍Fractured Sky puts you at the helm of an airship expedition to recover fragments of a magical falling star. Its gameplay is a unique combination of area control, resource management, blind bidding, and a hint of deduction.

Control the skies

Capture the stars

Fractured Sky uses a combination of area control, resource management, blind bidding, hidden information, and a hint of misdirection in a quick-to-learn game that's easy to get on the table.

Each round, players compete to collect conventional resources—gold, wood, and ore—along with the fragments of a falling star. The location of these starfalls are scattered among the islands and aren't fully known to players.

Players use powerful airships to deploy battalions of troops on the Islands. Each player controls 10 battalions, and must secretly divide their forces among their three airships every round.

Deploy an airship

At the end of each round, players collect the resources found in the regions they control. If a starfall exists in a contested region, the player with the largest army takes it back to base.

Reveal the armies

Use resources to construct fortresses and markets. Fortresses bolster your armies and add +1 troop power to adjacent islands. Markets increase resource collection in adjacent regions.

In addition to purchasing fortresses and markets, resources can be used to reveal hidden information by peeking and scouting. Information that helps you determine the islands where starfalls have landed.

Scout starfall

Players can earn starfalls by peeking at any of the five active hidden objectives, and then completing the objectives in a round.

Peek objective

At the end of the 5th round, the player with the most starfalls wins.

The Fractured Sky Kickstarter campaign will feature both retail and premium versions of the game. Securing a premium miniature version in the first production run will only be possible during the kickstarter campaign.

Miniature version will be available again in the future, but not until our second production cycle.
